Special evening walk

Also this year Rotta organizes every Friday evening (from June 24 to August 26) an excursion through the beautiful and protected Koornmolengat. This bog has never been cleared or drained and no peat has been cut.

On planks you will walk along the ditches and marshes of this forest of willows, alders and ash, interspersed with birch, rowan and hops. And not only that. Many species of water birds swim in the lake and dozens of cormorants brood in the trees.

The start is at 19:00 at the parking lot of Restaurant de Roerdomp (about 2 minutes walk from the Koornmolen). The walk takes about 2 hours.
